Blues on a Saturday afternoon

It doesn’t get much better than the Burnaby Blues Festival, which has been one of the highlights of the summer for the past 18 years. There’ll also be food vendors and activities for children onsite, too. Show begins at 1pm.

Happy birthday Burnaby

It’s a double celebration this year: it’s Canada’s 150th birthday, and Burnaby’s 125th! Head down to Swangard Stadium on August 18 and you’ll be able to see a musical ride of the iconic RCMP, which will the highlight of a day filled with fun activities and performances.

Movies in the park

It’ll be a fun and wholesome night at Wesburn Park on August 9, when the Wesburn Family Picnic & Movie Night will be taking place. Take a blanket and settle in for the film, which begins at 8:30pm. Before then, there’ll be hot dogs and wading pools.
